Heathrow Terminal 5 Parking: Complete Guide

4 min read

Everything you need to know about parking at Heathrow Terminal 5 - Meet & Greet, Park & Ride, and getting to the British Airways hub.

About Terminal 5

Terminal 5 is Heathrow's dedicated hub for British Airways, Iberia and other oneworld alliance airlines. It's located on the western side of the airport, separate from the central Terminals 2 and 3 area.

Meet & Greet at Terminal 5

Meet & Greet drivers meet you directly at the Terminal 5 departures drop-off, right outside the doors. This is especially useful at T5 given its larger layout and the longer walk from public car parks to the check-in halls.

Park & Ride at Terminal 5

Off-airport Park & Ride compounds run frequent shuttle services to Terminal 5, typically every 10-20 minutes. Allow a little extra time for the transfer compared to Meet & Greet, especially during peak hours.

Getting to Terminal 5

Terminal 5 has its own dedicated section of the M25/M4 access roads with clear signage. Satnav postcode TW6 2GA will take you to the Terminal 5 forecourt.

Allow extra journey time during peak travel periods (early morning and Friday evenings), as the approach roads to T5 can get busy.

Booking tips for Terminal 5

Always select 'Terminal 5' specifically when booking, so your Meet & Greet driver or shuttle service is briefed on the correct drop-off and pickup points - this avoids confusion with the central terminal area used by T2 and T3.
